About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education. The role involves providing engaging activities that promote learning and fun, supporting children's development through planning and observations, and preparing and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. Responsibilities also include preparing food for children, supporting their self-help needs, demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm, adhering to safeguarding rules, and undertaking necessary training, including first aid. This apprenticeship aims to develop a Level 3 practitioner with potential for a permanent position and future career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Attention to detail, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are essential.
