About the role
Become a qualified Kia Light Vehicle Technician through this apprenticeship. You will gain the knowledge and skills to service, repair, and diagnose vehicle faults. This program offers nationally recognised qualifications and the opportunity to achieve additional accreditations, making you a recognised Kia Dealer employee. You will learn to advise service advisors on faults, communicate with customers, and handle complex repairs. The apprenticeship includes a progression pathway to Level 3 Light Vehicle Standard, allowing for earlier qualification in basic servicing. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include Senior Technician, Master Technician, EV Specialist, and Service/Aftersales Manager roles. Kia is committed to developing Electric Vehicle Specialists.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work logically and as part of a team with initiative.
