About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing excellent activities that ensure child learning and fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, food preparation, and supporting children's self-help needs. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, adherence to safeguarding rules, and undertaking First Aid training. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential of a permanent position and opportunities for career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, along with strong communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, problem-solving abilities, presentation skills, team working, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience.
