About the role
Embark on an exciting entry-level career in Finance with MM FLOWERS LTD as a Finance Apprentice. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards a recognised professional apprenticeship. You will be responsible for processing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting accounts payable and receivable activities. This includes processing supplier invoices, assisting with customer invoicing, and investigating payments. The role involves carrying out routine reconciliations, identifying discrepancies, and adhering to financial controls. You will also use Excel and finance systems to prepare financial reports, develop skills in accounting and ERP systems, and maintain data accuracy. General administrative assistance to the Finance team is also expected. This is a collaborative role, requiring effective teamwork to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Possible progression within the business and onto further apprenticeships is available.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
