About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Apprentice to join the Dixon Lewis Partnership in Gateshead. You’ll work in a close-knit team where your contributions will be noticed and rewarded, with a genuine route to progress to Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, and Accountant in the future.
Duties include processing bookkeeping transactions, assisting with VAT returns and payroll, preparing paperwork for year-end accounts, providing client support, and general office administration. You will also learn company systems and processes, and work towards your AAT qualification, applying your learning to live client work. The employer offers individually tailored services to meet individuals’ needs. This is a Level 2 apprenticeship with a route to progress through AAT Level 3 and beyond.
