About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Dental Nurse with Riverdale Healthcare in North Shields. The apprenticeship is an 18-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma course delivered by City & Guilds. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, performing reception duties, and supporting the overall patient experience. You will learn to maintain high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Duties include preparing surgeries, assisting clinicians, updating patient records, and ensuring clinical areas are clean and safe. Upon completion, there are clear career progression routes within the dental sector, including Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, or further development into roles like Dental Hygienist or Therapist.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
