About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Teaching Assistant, supporting classroom teachers and aiding pupil progress. The program combines paid school employment with 20% off-the-job training, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. You will gain valuable knowledge in child development, national frameworks, safeguarding, legislation, and Special Educational Needs & Disabilities. Duties will involve working across classes, supporting children and young people aged 5 to 19, and helping pupils become successful adults. You'll learn to use various approaches and strategies to overcome learning barriers. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication, IT, and organizational skills, who are patient, creative, and possess a strong sense of initiative and teamwork.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grades A-C (or equivalent).
