About the role

This is a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship at Foregate Garage Ltd in Chester. The apprentice will learn to service, maintain, diagnose, and repair cars and light vehicles, working alongside experienced technicians. The 36-month apprenticeship combines workplace experience with off-the-job training covering engines, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in motor vehicles, a willingness to learn, good attention to detail, a positive attitude, and already possess a Level 2 understanding. Upon successful completion, the apprentice will achieve a Level 3 qualification and gain the practical skills for a career as a qualified motor vehicle technician. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English (Grade 4/C or above), GCSE Maths (Grade 4/C or above), Level 2 Automotive (Pass or above).
