Tax Trainee

About the role

Kick-start your Tax career in 2027 as a Tax Trainee at Cooper Parry in the East Midlands. This apprenticeship is ideal for school or college leavers with a passion for numbers, analytics, and problem-solving. You will work with small teams to understand clients' goals and advise them on achieving them. The role begins in January 2027, with interviews in November. Cooper Parry values a 'play all in' attitude, continuous learning, bravery, and kindness. You'll need strong project management skills to balance studies and work. Minimum requirement is 3 A-levels with grades BBC (including a numerical or business-related subject), but extenuating circumstances will be considered. You'll develop attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients. Responsibilities include simplifying complex tax information, ensuring client compliance, liaising with HMRC, identifying new opportunities, and staying updated on legislation. You will study for your ACA/CTA qualification over approximately 4 years with comprehensive support.
