About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to train as a Chef with Hungry Horse, part of Greene King. You will learn to prepare, cook, and present food to meet specifications and customer expectations, while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key responsibilities include clear communication with your team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals and staying updated on new products and menus. The role provides comprehensive work-based training, including face-to-face sessions and remote coaching with a dedicated Learner Coach every 6 weeks, along with in-workplace mentorship. You will also gain Functional Skills in English and Maths if required.
