About the role
This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to work in a childcare setting with children aged 0-5, working towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years Education. The role involves various childcare tasks, supporting children's welfare, education, and personal care, while following the EYFS framework. You will liaise with parents and create engaging activities. The apprenticeship requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Training will involve attending online sessions one day a week for the first 8 weeks, with the remainder of the 13-month apprenticeship spent gaining practical experience in the nursery under the guidance of a dedicated assessor. Upon successful completion, there is potential for career progression into roles such as Room Leader or further management training.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above), strong communication, organisation, customer care, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience.
