About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join CONSILIUM INSURANCE BROKERS LIMITED as a Risk and Compliance Apprentice. You will be responsible for maintaining important team registers and logs, including the risk register, breaches and complaints logs, and gifts and hospitality register. Your role will involve assisting with compliance checks by collecting information and evidence from colleagues, and conducting basic checks on new clients and business partners, including sanctions screening. You will also track policy review dates, help prepare reports and meeting materials, and support team and committee meetings by arranging logistics and taking notes. Additionally, you'll help maintain accurate supplier and contract records, assist with organising training, and provide support for the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system. You will also monitor industry news and updates related to insurance and regulation. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication, organisation, IT, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. GCSEs in English (4-9) and Maths (4-9) are essential, with IT (4-9) being desired. Upon successful completion, there is potential for excellent career progression within the company, possibly leading to a permanent position.
