About the role
As an Audit and Accounts Trainee at DSG Chartered Accountants, you will gain hands-on experience in various duties within the Audit team and potentially other departments. Your responsibilities will include carrying out audit and accounts assignments at the office or client premises, preparing basic accounts for a diverse client base, and checking financial information such as invoices and bank statements. You will also review client payroll records for accuracy, develop strong communication and client relationship skills, and utilize audit and accounting software. The role involves attending in-house technical training and becoming aware of the range of services offered by DSG. The long-term goal is to progress the successful candidate towards becoming a chartered accountant.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English: Level 5 and above, GCSE Maths: Level 6 and above, A Level Various: BCC at least. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, administrative, analytical, and teamwork skills are also essential.
