About the role
The Quantock Education Trust is seeking a motivated and ambitious Cyber Security Apprentice to join their IT team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical cyber security skills while working towards a Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist Apprenticeship. The apprentice will support the protection of trust school systems, networks, data, and people from cyber threats. Duties include monitoring IT systems, investigating security alerts, assisting with incident response, supporting vulnerability assessments, contributing to ICT audits, and promoting secure working practices. The apprenticeship involves working across Quantock Haygrove school and Sexey's school. A driving license is required. Upon completion, there is potential for a permanent full-time Cyber Security position.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English grade 4/C or above (or equivalent). Driving Licence required.
