About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Chef within a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Chef Apprentice at Beach Arms - Basingstoke, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food to brand standards, ensuring food safety and hygiene. You'll participate in team meetings, handle guest queries, and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cooking with a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry. The apprenticeship program includes work-based training over 15 months, leading to a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard. You will receive support from passionate chefs, a workplace mentor, and regular check-ins with a Lifetime Learner Coach. Functional Skills in English and Maths will be provided if needed. Upon completion, there are opportunities for career progression to higher-level apprenticeships, with a strong track record of chefs being promoted to Head Chef.
