About the role

As an apprentice, you’ll work at Richborough Nursery Ltd, a private, home-based nursery in Cricklewood catering to children aged 6 months to 5 years. You will gain hands-on experience and new skills working alongside experienced staff. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development of the childcare provision, providing engaging activities that ensure children learn while having fun, and assisting in meeting OFSTED requirements. You will be a team player, providing challenging and stimulating activities for children appropriately, and upholding equal opportunity in delivery. You will support children's learning and development, their self-help needs, and be creative and enthusiastic while following safeguarding rules and regulations. Other prospects could include applying for room leader positions, management training, or pursuing further education in primary education, paediatric nursing, or continuous development within the nursery setting.
