About the role
Johnston’s Shopfitters is seeking ambitious individuals to join their team as Apprentice Bench Joiners. This apprenticeship offers comprehensive training in their in-house manufacturing facility, working under experienced joiners and supervisors. You will learn to manufacture and assemble joinery items such as doors, windows, and bespoke furniture, gaining hands-on experience on live sites with professional mentoring. Key duties include using joinery tools and machinery, undertaking supervised minor works, adhering to health and safety policies, and learning to use specialist equipment. The apprenticeship aims to develop a full range of specialist joinery skills through practical application and working from technical designs. Candidates should be committed to excelling in their Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship.
