About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Level 3 Apprentice Teaching Assistant. This is a great opportunity to earn whilst you learn. Duties include learning about the classroom environment and working towards delivery in the classroom. We are looking for someone who can motivate our students.

Duties include: learning about the classroom environment and working towards delivery in the classroom; how to engage learners and support their learning; the importance of curriculum and different delivery styles; learning resources - how to use them to support learners; designing lesson plans; record keeping; behaviour management; and pastoral support for learners.

Essential requirements include GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Key skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, administration, numeracy, analytical thinking, logic, teamwork, initiative, being non-judgemental, and patience. Applicants will be asked to undertake assessments during the interview screening process and will be required to demonstrate a level of competence to qualify for employment within Nova Training. No official experience is necessary, but a genuine desire to support and encourage learners on their learning journey is essential.
