Early Years Educator Apprentice - Level 3

About the role

Ladybirds Nursery Beckenham is offering an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Educator Apprentice at Level 3. This role provides on-the-job training to give you a realistic experience of working in a day nursery. You will be paired with a buddy and work towards becoming a key person, attending training days with our training providers. Duties include planning, monitoring, and evaluating activities for children aged birth to five, ensuring a stimulating and appropriate environment, assisting with daily checks, and safeguarding children at all times. You will work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework, support qualified staff, and gain practical skills in providing high-quality childcare. Key requirements include a strong interest in child development, dedication to completing the apprenticeship, at least a Grade C in GCSE Maths or English (or willingness to complete functional skills), and effective communication and teamwork skills, treating all with respect and care.

• GCSE Mathematics: 4 (Desired), GCSE English Language: 4 (Desired), willingness to complete functional skills
