About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join Spark EPoS as an IT & Robotics Support Apprentice. You will gain hands-on experience in a rapidly evolving field, working with cutting-edge robotic technology. Responsibilities include assisting with robot mapping, navigation setup, and environment calibration. You'll also support customer surveys to understand their site requirements and prepare equipment for installations. Travel to customer sites is a key part of this role, where you will assist with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of cleaning and service robotic systems. This includes setting up charging stations, workstations, and network connectivity. You will also be involved in user training, customer onboarding, and performing routine maintenance and firmware updates. Accurate record-keeping of installation reports, service logs, and maintenance will be essential. This is a practical, field-based role that may require flexible working hours and involves regular travel.

  • GCSE Engineering: Grade C/4 (Desired), GCSE English: Grade C/4 (Desired), GCSE IT: Grade C/4 (Desired), GCSE Maths: Grade C/4 (Desired), GCSE Science: Grade C/4 (Desired), Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Problem solving skills, Logical, Team working, Interest in IT, Interest in Robotics, Positive attitude, Independent working, Flexible working. A full UK driving licence is desirable.
