Electronic Design Apprenticeship

About the role

Embark on a career in Electronic Design with AWE PLC as an apprentice. This 5-year program offers a comprehensive blend of theoretical learning and practical experience. You'll start with fundamental electronics, progressing to specialized teams across the business. The apprenticeship includes part-time college study towards a Higher National Diploma (HND), followed by further placements and an End Point Assessment for your degree apprenticeship. Develop skills in circuit design, semiconductor theory, fault finding, and test and measurements. Upon completion, you'll be qualified for roles such as Analogue Electronic Engineer, Firmware Engineer, or RF Electronic Engineer. Entry requirements

• GCSE 5 GCSEs inc English and Maths: 4/C or above (Essential), A Level Maths or Stem related or BTEC: C or abvove (Essential), BTEC BTEC level 3 /HNC/HND/T level (or A levels): C or above (Essential), Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Administrative skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Health and Safety Awareness
