About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Ocean Freight Forwarder with EXPEDITORS INTERNATIONAL (UK) LIMITED. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely flow of freight processes, tracking and tracing files, and utilizing both export and import dashboards. Accurate and timely billing, maintaining good customer and supplier relationships, and adhering to all compliance regulations are key aspects of this role. You will also be involved in preparing customs entries, ensuring timely customs clearance, and effectively communicating with customers. The role requires strong IT skills, attention to detail, excellent organization, and problem-solving abilities. As an apprentice, you will gain a rounded understanding of the freight forwarding industry, setting you up for a long-lasting career with opportunities for continued professional development and advancement.
