About the role
En Root, a South London restaurant specializing in Indian-inspired vegan cuisine, is offering an apprenticeship opportunity. Located in Clapham or Peckham, the restaurant focuses on health, flavour, culture, and nutritional joy. The apprenticeship involves preparing dishes, interacting with customers, and maintaining cleanliness. Duties include preparing fruits and vegetables, learning to make hot drinks, communicating with customers and the team, creating special menu items, taking orders and payments, and cleaning tables and the kitchen. Training will be provided in Food & Hygiene and Health & Safety, with both onsite and online learning to equip apprentices with transferable skills for future career paths within hospitality. The apprenticeship is a Level 2 qualification and lasts for 1 year.
