About the role
MC Apprenticeships & Training are recruiting on behalf of In Studio for a Software Developer Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, motivated team player to join a busy team, taking part in code reviews, developing software solutions, and communicating with colleagues, project managers, and stakeholders. The apprenticeship involves learning and applying industry-standard programming languages, collaborating with experienced developers, writing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews, and assisting with troubleshooting and debugging. Apprentices will also gain experience with version control systems, testing methodologies, and software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum. Continuous learning of new technologies and frameworks is expected. Upon completion, there may be a potential for employment depending on business circumstances.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above, with strong communication, IT, organisational, customer care, presentation, administrative, analytical, teamwork, and initiative skills.
