About the role
New Park Primary Academy, part of Northern Star Academies Trust, is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and development. This role involves assisting teachers, monitoring student progress, supporting individual learning plans, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The apprentice will gain practical experience in various aspects of classroom support, including personal care and safeguarding. Training will be provided in the workplace with monthly support from a vocational coach, a blend of theory and practical experience, and access to online resources. The program lasts approximately 18 months, including end-point assessment.
