Commercial Account Manager Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become a Commercial Account Manager Apprentice at Intermodal Tank Transport (ITT). You will be the primary point of contact for a defined list of customers, responsible for handling order requests, queries, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key duties include accurately processing orders, providing timely updates on services, lead times, and costs, and communicating any changes or delays to customers with alternative solutions. You will ensure all necessary details are captured in the system, communicate requirements to internal departments, and manage the recharge of additional costs. The role involves reviewing transport performance, identifying and addressing customer complaints, monitoring OTIF performance, and generating customer reports. The apprenticeship aims to develop your skills in communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, administration, numerical analysis, and strategic thinking, with the potential for a full-time role upon completion.
