About the role

Embark on a rewarding career in healthcare as a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice with DAY LEWIS PLC. This Level 2 apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting, supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy and contributing to a safe and efficient service. You will be trained to assist customers at the medicines counter, help with prescription preparation and supply (under supervision), manage stock, and maintain accurate records. This role also involves using pharmacy systems, upholding high standards of cleanliness and confidentiality, and working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer service. The program includes a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship qualification delivered through blended learning, typically over 15 months. We are seeking individuals with a genuine interest in healthcare, strong communication and customer service skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No prior pharmacy experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
