About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is new to care and wants to build a rewarding career while gaining a recognised qualification. You will receive training, guidance and ongoing support while developing practical skills in person-centred care, communication, safeguarding, medication support, infection control and promoting independence. You will work alongside experienced care professionals and gradually build the confidence and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care to a range of individuals with different needs. Key responsibilities include supporting individuals with their day-to-day care needs, assisting with personal care, providing companionship, supporting with meals and hydration, assisting with medication, supporting mobility, completing accurate care records, and following safeguarding procedures.
