This role is crucial for the smooth operation of the firm. The apprentice will support lawyers by managing telephone calls, operating office equipment, handling administrative tasks like post and document management, maintaining databases, assisting with compliance, preparing billing information, and organizing court documents. Additional responsibilities include managing fee earners' diaries, corresponding with third parties, maintaining files, typing, collating information, ordering stationery, and ensuring the office is tidy. The firm emphasizes the importance of confidentiality and adherence to legal and ethical rules.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English, ICT, and Maths at grade 5 or above, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, and logical skills. Team working, being non-judgemental, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and having common sense are also essential.
