About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and growing team as a Claims Handling Administrator Apprentice. This role involves providing technical and efficient business process administration support to the Claims Handling Department. You will work alongside the Administration Manager, Team Leaders, and other team members, gaining hands-on experience in a professional legal environment. The Claims Handling Team offers outsourced managed claims services for professional indemnity schemes on behalf of leading insurers, contributing significantly to the wider RPC law firm and its strategic goals. Key responsibilities include opening new matters, data input, sending acknowledgements, conducting conflict searches, diary management, filing, scanning, handling calls, processing payments, managing billing queries, and capturing management information. You will also liaise with insurers and brokers, manage mailboxes, and provide exceptional customer service.
