About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic apprentice dental nurse to join our practice in Yeovil. This role involves providing essential chairside support and delivering a high standard of oral healthcare to patients. You will receive comprehensive training and development to equip you for a successful career in dental nursing. Key duties include assisting dentists with various treatments, patient care, surgery preparation and maintenance, instrument sterilization, updating patient records, and adhering to practice policies. The apprenticeship combines practical on-the-job training with theoretical study delivered online by Aspiration Training, including regular teaching and one-to-one sessions. Off-the-job training will be provided during paid working hours.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4-9, strong communication, attention to detail, organization skills, and customer care skills.
