About the role

This is a 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in dental nursing. As a dental nurse apprentice, you will assist dentists, sterilize and prepare equipment, handle reception duties, and support the overall patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chair-side support, managing patient queries and payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas. You will also manage stock of equipment and supplies. The role is designed to support dentists and the senior team in delivering effective patient care. Essential requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above, along with strong communication, attention to detail, organizational, customer care, and teamwork skills.
