About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Owner Apprentice to join THALES UK LIMITED in Crawley. The apprenticeship blends academic study with hands-on experience, focusing on developing product knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviors essential for defining, prioritizing, and delivering valuable digital products and improvements. Apprentices will work with experienced product owners and delivery teams, contributing to live projects by collaborating with engineering, design, data, and systems specialists. Key responsibilities include learning about customer and stakeholder needs, contributing to product discovery, supporting backlog refinement, validating product outcomes, conducting user research, and producing lightweight documentation. This 24-month program aligns with the Level 4 Digital Product Manager Apprenticeship standard, delivered virtually with live lectures, online resources, and self-directed learning, culminating in an End Point Assessment and a permanent role within Thales.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (grades 9-4 or A*-C) and 2 x A Levels (grade C or above). IT skills, attention to detail, and teamwork are also essential.
