About the role
National Grid is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their Electricity Transmission team in Tottenham. This hands-on role involves maintaining, repairing, and overhauling critical substation equipment. You will work predominantly outdoors, sometimes at height, carrying out a variety of maintenance activities. Comprehensive training will be provided at the Eakring Training Centre, including specialist high-voltage mechanical engineering expertise, with potential for occasional overnight stays. Some weekend work and paid overtime are available. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career in a vital sector.
