About the role

Join Care Givers as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference every day. You will support individuals to live safely, independently and confidently, assisting with personal care, daily living, community activities and achieving personal goals while promoting choice, dignity and well-being.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality care, coordinating care packages, researching new opportunities, and acting as a key worker. You will also be involved in record-keeping, partnership working with health professionals, and potentially leading on clinical areas or managing a group of packages. The role emphasizes putting the people we support first, ensuring their rights are upheld, and making decisions that promote their choice, dignity, and independence. Financial responsibility and value for money are also key aspects. You will report any concerns about safety to a line manager and allocate daily tasks to support workers. Additional responsibilities include supporting new colleagues and acting as an ambassador for the service. A strong commitment to confidentiality, regulatory responsibilities, and appropriate record-keeping is essential.
