About the role
An exciting apprenticeship opportunity to work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager at FIVEWAYS MUNICIPAL VEHICLE HIRE LIMITED. The role involves ensuring prompt and efficient vehicle maintenance and MOT duties in accordance with manufacturer's guidance and health and safety rules. The apprentice will assist qualified staff with all servicing and MOT work, including undertaking maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles, ensuring accurate documentation for MOT preparation, servicing, and repairs, and maintaining high standards for third-party providers. The role also requires reporting workshop equipment defects and complying with relevant legislation.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Grade 4 in English and Maths are essential. Desired GCSE in ICT and a Pass in BTEC Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance or NVQ Heavy Vehicle (HGV) are also required. A valid UK Driving License is desired.
