About the role
Prisma Colour Ltd is seeking a motivated and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their team in Birch Vale, High Peak. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with an accounting background or those looking to start a career in accounts. The role involves processing and coding supplier invoices, dealing with supplier queries, reconciling supplier statements, setting up payment runs, daily recording of bank transactions, credit control, bank reconciliations, and posting monthly journals. You will also assist in the preparation of month-end accounts and support the Finance team and Financial Director. Experience in payroll is preferred but not essential. General office administration duties will also be part of the role. The company is a successful additive and colour concentrate manufacturer with over 30 years of experience and consistent year-on-year turnover growth.
