About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Level 2 Early Years Practitioner at Headcorn Pre-School. You will support children's learning and development through play and structured activities, assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment, and support children's care routines and independence. You will also build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, observe children's progress, and contribute to development records. The role involves promoting equality, inclusion, and positive behaviour, while adhering to safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures. You will report any concerns regarding a child's welfare and work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education. Successful apprentices may progress to Level 3 qualifications.

Entry requirements

  • No specific qualifications are required, but strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, analytical, team working, initiative, and non-judgemental skills are desired.
