About the role
An exciting opportunity to start or continue your childcare career with Parenta Training, working within Little Acorns Day Nursery. Gain hands-on experience supporting children aged 0-5 whilst working towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification and developing valuable skills for a rewarding career. Duties include supporting children's learning and development, assisting in creating a safe and stimulating environment, supporting children's care routines, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You will also observe children's progress, promote equality and inclusion, and follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures. The role requires a genuine passion for working with children and commitment to completing the apprenticeship. Successful apprentices may progress to a Level 3 qualification.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths grade 3/D or above. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience.
