About the role

This apprenticeship offers a 12-month government-funded course leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. As an apprentice dental nurse, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists chair-side, sterilising and preparing equipment, performing reception duties, and supporting the overall patient experience. The role involves a variety of tasks including managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas. You will also be responsible for managing stock and supporting the wider dental team. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Excellent communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgmental attitude are also required.
