About the role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? Join our team as a Learning Support Assistant apprentice and start your career in education. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge. The role involves providing learning support to individual learners or groups, assisting tutors, offering motivational and behaviour support, and helping learners develop personal and social skills. You will also support staff in meeting learners' needs, carry out administrative tasks, and assist in tracking learner progress. This apprenticeship leads to a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and functional skills in maths and English if required. Training is provided one day a week at our Colindale Centre.
Entry requirements
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Desired skills include communication, IT, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, creativity, and patience.
