About the role

Kickstart your career in the financial services industry with a leading national insurance broker! We help people insure themselves and their families with products such as life insurance, critical illness and income protection and many others.

As a Financial Services Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting our office operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing incoming emails and telephone enquiries, preparing and collating letters and client communications, providing excellent service to clients and colleagues, using Insurance portals and calling providers (a professional telephone manner is a must), handling regulated documentation and data processing, and using internal CRM and tracking systems with attention to detail to aid efficiency.

The team is small, but it is a fast-paced environment with a great atmosphere. Full training is provided, so no prior industry experience is required. What matters most is your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and confidence in speaking to the public. Learners may progress into permanent employment upon completion of the qualification.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. IT skills, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Analytical skills, Number skills.
