About the role

As an Apprentice Vehicle Damage Paint Technician, you will work as part of a highly skilled workforce committed to quality, preparing, spraying, and finishing vehicles that have been involved in collisions and other incidents. The successful candidate will receive a high-quality training package with excellent career prospects. Duties include repairing minor scratches and dents, preparing new and repaired panels for refinishing, masking and priming surfaces, applying paint refinishing techniques, detailing, and buffing paintwork to a suitable finish. The company is a professional, prestige, and electric vehicle repair specialist, working with leading manufacturers and holding industry accreditations. They are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and organised individual eager to learn and contribute to a team, with a genuine passion for cars. Upon completion, there are opportunities for a full-time career with progression to roles such as workshop controller, Vehicle Damage Assessor, or Bodyshop Manager.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Grade 4 or C in English and Maths (or Level 2 equivalent). Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, teamwork, initiative, patience, and physical fitness are desired.
