Service Technician Apprenticeship - Vertu Vauxhall Waltham Cross

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become a proficient service technician in the automotive industry. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, the apprentice will gain hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of Stellantis products and services. Responsibilities include assisting senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, using diagnostic tools, and communicating with customers. The program lasts for 3 years and leads to a nationally recognized qualification. Apprentices are employed by the dealer network and receive block training at a state-of-the-art facility, supplemented by coaching visits, virtual classroom sessions, and e-learning modules. There are opportunities for career progression within the expanding dealer network.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above. Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Analytical skills, Team working.
