About the role

Hummingbirds Daycare is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Childcare Apprentice to join their early years team. This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career working with children and develop knowledge, skills, and experience within a nursery setting. The apprentice will work alongside experienced practitioners to support the learning, development, care, and wellbeing of children. Key responsibilities include supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities, providing a safe and stimulating environment, building positive relationships, observing and supporting individual learning needs, assisting with planning and documentation, and supporting personal care routines. The role also requires adherence to safeguarding, health and safety procedures, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The apprenticeship is delivered by PARAGON EDUCATION & SKILLS LIMITED and upon completion, the apprentice will have obtained their Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship L2 or L3, depending on prior experience.
