About the role

Are you passionate about working with children? Tiny Teapots Day Nursery is looking for a nursery apprentice to join their team. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced childcare workers, observing them as they teach, communicate, and play with young children. You will also take on responsibilities such as planning and maintaining children's records, understanding safeguarding policies, and ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of the children. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to train as an Early Years Practitioner, working towards a professional qualification while earning and learning in a supportive environment. You will be mentored by qualified staff, build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and help plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English Language grade 4 and GCSE Mathematics grade 4. Desired skills include communication, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, organisation, and patience.
