About the role

Are you passionate about working with children? Just Childcare Limited is recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner apprentice at their Nursery Lane Day Nursery in Alwoodley. As a nursery apprentice, you will have the opportunity to observe childcare workers as they teach, communicate, and play with young children. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to train as an Early Years Practitioner while working towards a professional qualification, allowing you to earn while you learn in a supportive and engaging environment. You will gain responsibilities such as planning and maintaining children's records, understanding safeguarding policies, and ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of the children. You will be supported by qualified staff, build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and help plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Realise Learning and Employment Limited is the training provider for this Level 2 apprenticeship. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
