About the role

Saltaire Orthodontics is offering a 12-month government-funded Dental Nurse Apprenticeship at Level 3. This program, in partnership with City & Guilds, provides an Extended Diploma and practical experience. Apprentices will assist dentists, sterilize equipment, handle reception duties, and contribute to patient experience. Key responsibilities include chair-side support, patient interaction, appointment booking, stock management, and maintaining dental areas. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and customer care skills, as well as patience and a non-judgmental approach. Successful candidates must be 19 or older due to insurance restrictions and will need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccine. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include roles like team manager, dental practice manager, dental therapist, dental hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.
