About the role
FOOTSTEPS DAY NURSERY (CHINGFORD) LTD is offering a Childcare Level 3 Apprenticeship. The role involves acting as a key person to a group of children, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are met. The apprentice will work in partnership with parents and other family members, and advise the manager of any concerns regarding the health and well-being of children, parents, or the safety of equipment. The position requires teaching children through stimulating play experiences and ensuring their safety by understanding and following child protection procedures. The apprentice will actively participate in team, supervision, and appraisal meetings, and attend required training courses for personal development. The apprenticeship is for 1 year and 6 months, with a start date of 2026-11-20. The training provider is NORTH WALES TRAINING LTD. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required. Upon completion, there is potential for a permanent position. The nursery is a small, family-owned chain serving children from 6 months to 5 years in East London.
