About the role

An opportunity to support people in their own homes, maintain their independence and truly provide person-centred care. The role involves supporting individuals with all activities of daily life, including personal care, companionship, medication administration, and food preparation. As a domiciliary care worker, you will gain skills in communication, teamwork, resilience, and basic healthcare. You will get to know your clients, understand their individuality and history, and develop the ability to talk to people of different backgrounds and experiences. Responsibilities include reliability, supporting personal care, assisting with medication, preparing and serving food, and participating in client-chosen activities. Upon completion of this 12-month apprenticeship, you will obtain your Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship qualification.
